    How should Christians parent their children in a culture that is pervasively embracing and institutionalizing LGBTQ+ beliefs and practices?

Rev. Jonathan Shumate serves as the founder and executive director of CrossLife (crosslife.org). Jonathan came to faith through Young Life while in high school and has served in vocational ministry for 20 years with a focus on evangelism, teaching, preaching, and shepherding. He is an ordained minister of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church and has been married to Kathleen for 15 years. They have 7 children.

    How does the LGBTQ+ movement understand human nature and what implications does this have for individuals and society as a whole? How should Christians interact with their claims?

  • Workshop 2 – 10:15 AM – “Same Sex Attraction and and Transgenderism” – Distinguishing fact from fiction  ("同性吸引與跨性別主義"–區分事實與虛構)

    What claims do LGBTQ+ advocates make in regard to the biological legitimacy for same sex attraction and transgenderism, and are these supported by evidence?

  • Workshop 3 – 11:30 AM – “Parental Wisdom for Today’s Culture” – Guiding our children in a morally decayed society  ("應對當今文化之管教智慧"–在道德敗壞的社會中引導我們的孩子)

    How should Christians parent their children in a culture that is pervasively embracing and institutionalizing LGBTQ+ beliefs and practices? 

 

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER  (講員介紹): 

Rev. Jonathan Shumate serves as the founder and executive director of CrossLife (crosslife.org). Jonathan came to faith through Young Life while in high school and has served in vocational ministry for 20 years with a focus on evangelism, teaching, preaching, and shepherding. He is an ordained minister of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church and has been married to Kathleen for 15 years. They have 7 children.

Jonathan Shumate牧師是CrossLife組織的創辦人兼執行董事(crosslife.org)。Jonathan牧師在高中時透過Young Life組織信了主，並在職場事工中服侍了20年，專注於傳福音、教導、講道和牧養。他是長老會Evangelical Presbyterian Church的牧師，與Kathleen結婚15年，育有7個孩子。
