There are three initiatives at HCC to serve the poor among us:

Poor at Our Door

Planning team to develop a pantry ministry to meet the practical and spiritual needs of those knocking and asking for help at HCC
Identifying local resources around HCC that we can partner with and/or refer our neighbors to if they need additional assistance

Poor We Drive By

Coordinating care package assembly to distribute on Sundays and for the Underpass group to utilize
Distribution of care packages every other month to HCC members after English service so members can provide basic supplies to people asking for assistance at street intersections during their commute

Poor Under the Underpass

Visiting our neighbors experiencing homelessness living by the 610/Main & Buffalo Speedway underpasses twice a month to provide care packages, clothing, and to pray with them
Visitations occur on Sunday afternoons from 1-2pm
