Edward Lee: Director, Beacon Biblical Counseling

Edward is a pastor at heart having served for almost 20 years in various roles and churches. Over those years in ministry, one of the things he loves the most is sitting with people, listening to their stories with grace and kindness, opening up Scripture and pointing them to the hope that is found in the person and work of Jesus Christ. When Edward thinks of the counseling relationship, he doesn’t come into it as an expert, but a fellow sojourner bringing his own flaws and struggles before God to receive His transforming grace. 

Edward currently serves as the founder and director of Beacon Biblical Counseling in Katy, TX, which serves to provide Christ-centered, biblically based, clinically informed care to individuals and couples in the Katy area as well as equipping and consultation to local churches. His counseling experience includes working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, addictions, shame, anger, trauma, loneliness, life-transitions and more. He also has worked with many couples in premarital and marital counseling. 

Edward received his Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Master of Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Christina, have been married for 20 years and have two sons, Elijah, and Caleb.

 

Edward 本質上是一位牧師，在不同的教會擔任過近 20 年的職位。在事工的這些年裡，他最喜歡的事情之一就是與人們坐在一起，帶著恩典和仁慈聆聽他們的故事，打開聖經，向他們指出在耶穌基督的人和工作中找到的希望。當Edward 想到輔導的關係時，他並不是以專家的身份進入其中，而是以一個寄居者的身份進入其中，將自己的缺點和掙扎帶到上帝面前，以接受他改變的恩典。

Edward Lee: Director, Beacon Biblical Counseling

Edward is a pastor at heart having served for almost 20 years in various roles and churches. Over those years in ministry, one of the things he loves the most is sitting with people, listening to their stories with grace and kindness, opening up Scripture and pointing them to the hope that is found in the person and work of Jesus Christ. When Edward thinks of the counseling relationship, he doesn’t come into it as an expert, but a fellow sojourner bringing his own flaws and struggles before God to receive His transforming grace. 

Edward currently serves as the founder and director of Beacon Biblical Counseling in Katy, TX, which serves to provide Christ-centered, biblically based, clinically informed care to individuals and couples in the Katy area as well as equipping and consultation to local churches. His counseling experience includes working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, addictions, shame, anger, trauma, loneliness, life-transitions and more. He also has worked with many couples in premarital and marital counseling. 

Edward received his Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Master of Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Christina, have been married for 20 years and have two sons, Elijah, and Caleb.
