CG Introduction

One-Sentence Summary: SWAG ("Saved With Amazing Grace") seeks to grow closer to Christ through prayer, Bible reading, and accountability.

Demographics: We are all post-college with the majority working or in post-graduate education. Age demographic is 20s to early 30s. Several married couples, mostly other dating couples and singles. No children in the group yet.

Weekly Meetings: Our group is composed of 4 smaller cell groups which rotate helping lead community group each week.

Each week we start our meetings with an ice breaker, review church announcements for the week, two songs of worship, time of gospel sharing, sermon-based discussion for word time, and close in time of praise & prayers within our cell groups to reflect on the past week and pray for the upcoming week.

What Do You Enjoy Together? We enjoy sports activities together such as running, racquet sports, and flag football. We routinely get together for meals and celebrate life events as a group.

Vision Statement:

  • To grow closer to God and to each other as a community
  • To represent the image of God in our actions and conduct
  • To serve together with the purpose of loving our neighbors
  • To raise up leaders who step up and take ownership of our group
  • To build a multigenerational community that supports one another through every stage of life and faith
