A Spiritual Wisdom | 1 Corinthians 2:1-16
Preached By Jason Tarn
Bible Book(s): 1 Corinthians

The Corinthian church was troubled by a divisive spirit among its members – where some had elevated themselves, claiming to be wiser and more spiritual than others. So Paul began his letter by demonstrating how their fascination with “human wisdom” is incompatible with the gospel. But in today’s text, he is careful to explain that, while contrary to human wisdom, Christianity is not opposed to wisdom. It just involves a certain kind of wisdom. One that draws lines, but not between Christians.
