Winter 2025-2026 Quarter Classes
New Testament Survey (Part 3 of 3): 1 Timothy to Revelation

Led by James Gao, Pastor Henry Ow, John Hsieh, Nathan Leu, and Bill Huang

Room 113
In the one-year New Testament Survey track, we will provide a high-level overview of the 27 books of the New Testament and study their main ideas and themes. Through presentations, group discussions, and application of the lessons, we will gain more knowledge of these books and grow in our walk with Jesus.

Christian Ethics (Part 3 of 3): Relationships & Marriage, Sexual Ethics, Enviromental Ethics

Led by Michael Cao, Melvin Huang, Sam Huang, Akhil Shenoy, Pastor Jason Tarn, and Eric Wiest

Chapel
Christian ethics studies what is right and wrong from a biblical perspective. Ethical questions and dilemmas are among the thorniest and most complex moral issues that confront us today. Yet, as difficult as it may be, Christians need to address them by answering the questions: “What would Jesus do? What actions and attitudes would receive God’s approval? What factors or standards should we consider in making ethical decisions?”
Join us for the second of three quarters that will cover a wide range of ethical topics. For this winter, we will cover the following units:

  • Relationships & Marriage (e.g., biblical vision of marriage, marital strife/abuse, divorce & remarriage, dating, singleness, etc.)

  • Sexual Ethics (e.g., biblical vision of sex, homosexuality, same-sex attraction, LGBTQ+ rights & dialogue, transgenderism, etc.)

  • Environmental Ethics (e.g., creation care; climate change, sustainability, etc.)

With emphasis on the Bible as our primary source and standard, but also incorporating other relevant materials, sources, and media, we seek to engage and equip attendees with a Christian framework for making ethical decisions with respect to these important subjects. We warmly invite you to join us in this challenging but worthy endeavor.

Verse By Verse Study: Book of Judges

Led by Dan Tung,  Pastor Jason Tarn, Jamison Chang, Steven Cheng and James Hsia

Room 210
Journey through the Book of Judges this March through April and discover God’s faithfulness in turbulent times.  We will deep dive verse by verse 1-2 chapters at a time, to understand complex characters like Gideon and Samson.  The Bible does not romanticize the exploits of these judges of Israel, but includes the good and the bad.  Let’s together learn more about God, and ourselves, in the Holy pages of history.

Finding Your PLACE, January 25 – February 22, 2026

Led by Dena Chuang and Sean Qiu

Room 113
We are offering a 5-week Sunday School class called "Finding Your PLACE". PLACE is an intentional process to help God’s people discover how He has uniquely created them so they can be and do what He created them for in life and ministry (Ephesians 2:10). PLACE is an acronym that stands for: Personality Discovery, Learning Spiritual Gifts, Abilities Awareness, Connecting Passion with Ministry, Experiences of Life. The class will run 1/25/26-3/01/26.
