PayPal Giving Fund (PPGF)

The PayPal Giving Fund (PPGF) enables you to make an offering via credit card (and without fees) but note the following instructions:

• You must have a personal PayPal account to donate through the PPGF. The PPGF does not allow you to designate your donation because there is no memo line feature, so all PPGF donations to HCC will default to the General Fund.
  • To fulfill your pledge for the HCC Building Project, use “25” in the cents amount, e.g. “$250.25“
  • To fulfill your pledge for the Renovation Project, use "27" in the cents amount, e.g. $250.27"
  • ​​​​​​To designate to the HCC Building Fund, use “22” in the cents amount, e.g. “$250.22.” Use "22" if you don't have a pledge but would still like to contribute to our building project.
• If you want your online donations to appear on your Annual HCC Offering Receipt Report, make sure the box is checked for, “Share my name and email with this charity.” Otherwise, your donation will be anonymous to us.  
• Your receipt for tax deduction purposes will come immediately via email from PPGF and not HCC. Be sure to retain these emails because there will be no consolidated year-end report from the PPGF nor any website where you can download copies of past emailed receipts. (FYI, the effective tax date is when you made your donation to the PPGF, even though HCC may not receive your donation for up to 6 weeks)
