Churches can be merely in the city. Or take a stance against the city. Or end up completely of the city. But the mission of God will need churches that are for the city. Because the city is the future (quite literally for believers), faithfulness to Christ and His commission will call for a recognition and appreciation of the potential in cities both for great good and great harm.
