Our society is confused about the Sabbath. It is still observed to some degree. Consider how post offices and banks typically close on Sundays, and alcohol sales are limited or altogether prohibited. Our society has yet to shed all vestiges of its Christian heritage. But it is safe to say that the whole point behind Sabbath keeping has largely been lost, even for many Christians. We equate it to going to church, but is that it? Is there more to keeping the Sabbath?
