The Annunciation | Luke 1:26-45
Preached By Jason Tarn
In Christian tradition, the Annunciation refers to that event where the angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would miraculously conceive and give birth to the long-expected Messiah. Now Christmas Day typically receives greater attention, but one could make a case for Annunciation Day being a more important holiday. Since the Incarnation of the Son of God actually took place then – nine months prior! So there is much we can learn from this glorious event.
