Jacob is a man who has it all but, at the same time, has nothing. He secured the coveted birthright and blessing, but he now finds himself displaced, sent away from the very land he conspired to inherit. He begins to reap the consequences of his efforts to secure a blessed life for himself – to be his own savior.
