Throughout Paul’s letter to the Colossians, he has woven the common thread of the gospel, which holds everything in the church together. All the relationships between Jew and Gentile, slave and free, husband and wife, parent and child – are all transformed and tied by the gospel. Now Paul concludes by exhorting the church to maintain a clear and compelling gospel witness to the outside world.
