On the third Sunday of January, churches across our nation observe Sanctity of Human Life Sunday as a way to commemorate the lives lost to abortion since Roe v. Wade on January 23, 1973. This morning we will see how the Parable of the Good Samaritan affirms the dignity of every human person – no matter their size – and how it calls us to show neighborly love towards all, including the inhabitants of the womb.
