Due to inclement weather caused by Hurricane Harvey, all HCC worship services are canceled for August 27, 2017. Though we cannot congregate in body, we can do so in spirit. This sermon (originally preached on August 4, 2013) has been made available for church members to utilize in private or family worship on Sunday morning. God's attribute of independence (his aseity) speaks of how infinitely big he is. It's what we must remember when feeling so infinitesimally small in the face of a massive storm.
