For seven chapters, the gospel flourished and the Church grew within Jewish culture. And now for the first time, the Church’s mission crosses over into cultures and peoples that were considered irreconcilable or undesirable to the dominate culture within the Church. This decisive moment in the past continues to instruct us in the present.
